Gianni Scumaci is a third-generation hairdresser who began cutting hair at 11 and joined the prestigious House of Vidal Sassoon in London, becoming its youngest-ever Creative Director. In 2000, his globally iconic haircut 'The Fanni' was adopted by Gucci, Jil Sander and Gap, and featured in Trivial Pursuit. His work has graced the covers of British Vogue and i-D, and he has collaborated with photographers including David Bailey and Tim Walker. Founder of GS Education, his online platform reaches over 90 countries. In 2026, Gianni launched his Heart to Hand mentorship programme, developing hairstylists worldwide through his GS Method.

With 15 years in the industry and a career that's taken her from the salons of Tokyo to the streets of Soho, Akemi Mashima brings a rare blend of precision and artistry to every chair. After a decade honing her craft in Japan, she moved to London to take on a Senior Stylist and Manager role at a Japanese salon in Soho — and now brings that same expertise to Tone. A specialist in Asian hair and perms, with a mastery of cuts, colour, and styling across both Asian and Western hair, her work is considered, intentional, and always deeply personal. Her chair is a welcoming space for clients of all ages and backgrounds.

Born and raised in Colombia, Rocio moved to London in 1998 and found her true passion in hairdressing. Trained at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in 2007, she has since built her career across a number of respected London salons. Known for her attention to detail, warm approach and genuine commitment to understanding each client, Rocio builds lasting relationships that keep people coming back. Named London's best colourist by Harper's Bazaar, Luci trained at Michael John and Four London before becoming a senior colourist at Larry King, one of the capital's most celebrated salons. Her client list includes Olivia Wilde, Roxy Horner and Ayda Williams, and her work has extended to the set of Star Wars. Luci's approach is grounded in the belief that the best colour is the kind that looks effortless, whether transformative or quietly, beautifully lived-in.

Simone’s career began at Trevor Sorbie in the late eighties, working alongside Eugene Souleiman on shows, shoots and tours. She went on to become Art Director at Toni & Guy's flagship salon, where a chance encounter changed everything - after cutting Guido Palau's hair, he asked her to put together the team for his very first fashion show: Catherine Hamnett in Paris. She has travelled the world with Guido ever since. Vidal Sassoon trained with over 30 years' experience, Alliah is a highly respected colourist whose career has been shaped by one of the world's most iconic names in hair. Starting on the salon floor at 16, she rose to Colour Director at Vidal Sassoon, mastering her craft at the highest level. Having travelled internationally, worked on shows and educated fellow professionals, she brings rare technical expertise and artistry to every appointment. Known for her exceptional eye for colour placement, she creates bespoke colour — from luminous naturals and seamless grey blending to bold transformations — tailored to enhance each client's individuality and confidence. Her approach is simple: listen, understand, and create colour that makes every client feel confident, beautiful and completely themselves.

Janina Zais is an international hair artist based in London, working across fashion, beauty and film for over 17 years. Twice selected for the British Fashion Council's New Wave: Creatives list, she has collaborated with photographers including Nick Knight and Gordon von Steiner, and worked with artists such as Troye Sivan and Tame Impala. Her portfolio spans runway, editorial, advertising and film - including Ruben Östlund's Palme d'Or-winning Triangle of Sadness. With over 35 years of experience, Erminio Fiocca is one of the most respected creative hairstylists in the world. Trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, he went on to become Aveda's UK Artistic Director, running educational courses worldwide and creating seasonal collections nationally and internationally. He has worked alongside industry greats including Eugene Souleiman and Antoinette Beenders, and his work has appeared on high-profile editorial shoots, TV and fashion catwalks around the world. At the heart of everything is a simple philosophy: great hair is about the individual - precision cutting, natural movement and contemporary shape, tailored entirely to each client.

Originally from Greece, Giota is an all-rounder in cut and colour with over 20 years of experience. She moved to London in 2012 and spent the next decade training and working at Toni & Guy, taking part in editorial shoots and backstage shows at London Fashion Week. She later graduated from the L'Oréal Academy as a Colour Specialist. Known for beautiful blondes, bespoke highlights, balayage and soft layered cuts, Giota draws inspiration from fashion, people and nature - with the iconic style of the 1960s a particular favourite. She is proud to be part of the team at Tone Soho.
